1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, registering, submitting models, or using the OpenRad platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access or use the Service.

2. Clinical and Medical Disclaimer

OpenRad is a research and educational registry only. The artificial intelligence models, weights, data, configurations, and performance metrics listed on this platform are intended strictly for scientific evaluation, academic research, and educational purposes.

None of the models or findings listed here are certified medical devices, nor do they constitute medical or clinical advice. OpenRad must not be used for primary diagnostic purposes, clinical decision support, or active patient care. KV and contributors accept no liability for any diagnostic decisions or clinical results made based on information or models retrieved from the Service.

3. Account Registration & Safety

To submit models, like listings, or access certain administrative features, you must register using an email address. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all actions that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to immediately notify us if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Model Submissions and Integrity

When submitting AI models, metadata, repository links, or descriptions ("Submissions"):

  • You confirm that you own or have the appropriate licenses and rights to share the model card, metadata, and link to the repository/weights.
  • You grant OpenRad a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, index, display, and analyze your Submissions for public display.
  • You warrant that your Submissions do not violate any patent, copyright, trade secret, or privacy rights of any third party.
  • Safety Rule: You strictly agree not to submit or link to repositories containing malicious payloads, virus-infected weight files (e.g., untrusted Pickle serialization files containing remote code execution vectors), or malicious code.

5. Moderation and Administration

We reserve the right, but do not assume the obligation, to monitor, review, edit, flag, or delete any model submissions or user interactions that violate these Terms, or are deemed inappropriate, incorrect, or unsafe. System administrators reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts for non-compliance.

6. Intellectual Property

The OpenRad registry platform interface, brand design, visual identity, and proprietary code are owned by KV and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Model weights and codes linked from the registry are subject to the licenses defined by their respective repository owners.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE, WEIGHTS, OR AI MODEL PREDICTIONS WILL BE ACCURATE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF ERRORS OR VIRUSES.

8. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL KV, OPENRAD, OR ITS CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Your continued use of the platform after the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
